Commissioned as a music video for Diabla by Funk D'Void by Soma Records and presented as a short film/music promo hybrid.

An idyllic village in the Scottish highlands is attacked by a giant loudspeaker with a score to settle, but only two men have the earplugs.

On a limited budget, one of the most striking low budget promos"of 2001. Edited with verve and directed with an eye for detail, Bass Invaders is an exciting, imaginative and original promo. Given the high production values it is a miracle that it was produced for just £5k. - Mirrorball

A fun concept well executed, Bass Invaders is a solid example of what a music video should be: engaging, innovative, primed for re-viewing. - M.V.P.A

Bloody miraculous on the budget... incessant action... a classic shoot-em-up. - Promo magazine

A far cry from those glamour videos with beautiful girls sitting around the pool enjoying the sunshine and dreaming. - German Dance Awards
